Best practices
A few choices decide whether a launch lands well. None of them are tricks; they are just deliberate.
Choosing a pair and pool fee
The pair frames your coin's story for its whole life: a watch, a supercar, dollars, or ETH. A higher pool fee earns more per trade but can deter volume; 0.3% to 1% suits most coins. Both are immutable, so pick deliberately.
Naming and image
- Keep the ticker short and legible; it appears on every chart and card.
- Use a distinctive square image. It is pinned to IPFS, so choose something you are happy to keep permanently.
- Add your X and Telegram so holders can find the real project and avoid impersonators.
Using the dev buy
The atomic dev buy is your anti-snipe: it executes inside the launch transaction, so nobody can front-run your first buy. The first trade on a fresh coin must be a buy, since the pool starts single-sided.
Gas is in ETH
Keep a small ETH balance so the deploy and your first trades never stall waiting for gas.
